Philosophy behind 'H.H.G'

Helping Hand Ghana is very sensitive and respectful of the needs of the local people who are sometimes, being ignored in the country. We visit villages to get to know, and try to understand, their needs, in terms of tutors for their schools, volunteers for orphanages and in the rural health sectors - plus a whole lot more. Since HHG is a Ghanaian based organisation it ensures that the programs it undertakes benefit the local people. It encourages a mutual co-operation between HHG and those people, with ideas for projects and placements being founded and directed by the local people themselves.

In order to make participants' stays truly worthwhile and meaningful, we place them in various communities where a lot of help is needed from them.
